ScreenPRO II uses four image layers (Unscaled Background, up to two scaled PIPs or Keys, and an unscaled Downstream Key) to produce sophisticated effects, including transitioning backgrounds, transitioning PIPs, wipes, dissolves and keys.Two inputs are scaled and mixed to provide mixing within a PIP (Picture-in-Picture) or, alternately, two independent PIPs or Keys displayed on a Background. In addition, two unscaled high-resolution input channels provide seamlessly transitioning backgrounds, or alternately, a high resolution background and high resolution Downstream Key (DSK). An internal 8X2 analog video router provides universal analog sources to each scaler channel. In addition, up to two optional SD/HD SDI inputs are available for the scaled channels.ScreenPRO II supports input and output resolutions up to UXGA. High quality motion adaptive de-interlacing is performed on Standard Definition and High Definition video sources. ScreenPRO II features a low video processing delay of three input fields maximum. |

This device adds flexibility and greater control to multi-screen and single screen events.The controller enhances PIP and KEY placement, source switching, and layer control options during a presentation. The ScreenPRO-II Controller includes access to 36 presets, available to the operator at a touch of a button. Preset recalls include items such as sources, layer functions and transition effects simplifying the control of single screen or multi-screen events.The controller also allows for remote switching of the MatrixPRO routers encasing the total flexibility and capacity of the presentation system. The controller works with up to 16 inputs, any mixture of RGBHV analog signals and SDI/ HDSDI, DVI signals, from both external routers and the built in routers of the ScreenPRO II.The ScreenPRO II controller is available with a tally and a PS2 Keyboard card. The tally card triggers tally lights on Camera CCU units or other devices. The PS/2 Port allows for a PS/2 keyboard to be connected simplifying setup functions |

Processing includes data doubling to generate
overlapped projected regions as well as edge-feathering of the
overlapped images. The amount of data overlap and the edge-feather
transfer function are user programmable.The complete widescreen
system consists of the BlendPRO-II, up to four ScreenPRO-II seamless
switchers, and the ScreenPRO-II controller. The ScreenPRO-II accepts
up to eight (8) universal analog inputs and two DVI signals that can
be utilized as unscaled background sources or DSK (Down-Stream-Key).
ScreenPRO-II HD also accepts HDSDI signals for scaling. A MatrixPRO
router connected in front of the ScreenPRO-II increases the input
source capability of the system to 16. Applications BlendPRO-II allows easy transition from presentations involving independent screens to multiple projector wide-screen presentations. Input source selection, seamless switching, and image processing control functions are performed by multiple ScreenPRO-II units. The outputs from the ScreenPRO-IIs are fed to a BlendPRO-II which creates data overlap and edge feathering completely transparent to the operator. Extron SW VGA Series are active switchers utilizing 15-pin HD connectors. There are six switchers in the series. The SW2 VGArs, SW4 VGArs, and SW6 VGArs are two, four, and six input, one output switchers that allow multiple VGA-QXGA computer inputs to be switched to one compatible display.
