About us

Tecnomeeting and events, a story that began in Rome in 1999, and which over the course of 23+ years of activity has taken us across Italy and to many other parts of the world in support of hundreds of initiatives with our services catering to conferences, seminars, roadshows, industry fairs, institutional and political ceremonies, company conventions, and large-scale events. In 2020 we “converted”  some of our formats into live streaming events to accommodate social distancing issues associated with COVID.

Our experience has allowed us to interact with hundreds of institutional interlocutors and tens of thousands of participants: from the former we have drawn the drive to always deliver more than expected and to perfect every aspect of the methodology, operational and organizational methods, and from the latter we have drawn suggestions, ideas, advice to prepare high quality services but above all responding to real and contingent needs that only keen-eyed end users can relay. A long journey that has led us to consider essential the phases of consultancy and proactive support for the client, to share their needs and objectives, to prevent critical issues that may occur and respond promptly to contingent situations. This has allowed us to be considered among the leaders in Italy in the field of audio-visual rental supplies, simultaneous translation, lighting, electronic voting, computers and furniture for events, large events, and congresses.

Our clients

Throughout our twenty  years of activity, Tecnomeeting has supplied equipment, technical and communication services for the 35th G8 Summit of Heads of State and Government in L’Aquila in 2009 and the Ministerial meetings of Foreign Affairs (Lucca), Transport (Cagliari), Industry/ICT (Turin), Science (Turin) and Work (Turin) in 2017 in occasion of the Italian Presidency of the G7.

In 2021 it provided the event production and supply of audio, video, IT technologies and furnishings during the Italian Presidency of the G20 as an RTI company awarded lot 2:

  • Ministerial Meetings in Catania for Education
  • Ministerial Meeting in Catania for Labour
  • Equal Opportunities Ministry meeting in Santa Margherita Ligure
  • Production management, design and supply for the Sherpa G20 event in Florence
  • Ministry of Finance event in Genoa 

It is a supplier of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) for which it has produced and supplied Audio Video technology and furniture for the Election of the governing bodies and the President in Rome in 2021.

Tecnomeeting produced, designed, and built   the 43rd Congress in Rome in 2018 for the UEFA ANNUAL CONGRESS EVENT

Tecnomeeting has produced Large Corporate Events inside the Olympic Stadium in Rome for companies such as Daikin and Associations such as ASI (Italian Sports Associations), and provided equipment during the Italian Internationals for Sponsors, and in the European Swimming Championships.

Tecnomeeting is a contracted supplier to FAO, the United Nations World Food Program and IFAD for audio-visual technology and specialized events and technical assistance services

Since January 2016 it has been providing technical assistance and translation technologies, conference systems and video systems to the Presidency of the Italian Republic for which it supplies digital audio translation systems for meetings with the Presidents of other nations. Of particular note the meetings between the President of the Italian Republic and the Presidents of the United States of America and of The Peoples Republic of China.

Since 2017 it has been the exclusive supplier of audio, video, lighting, and IT services for events of the Firenze Fiera Congress Centre which manages the prestigious offices of Fortezza da Basso, Palaffari and Palazzo dei Congressi. As a Partner of Firenze Fiera, it participated in the renovation of the new Palaffari by designing and installing the new digital audio-video systems in all environments. 

Tecnomeeting operates daily in the main conference and events venues in Rome and wider Italy, with direct and in-depth knowledge that allows the services requested to be optimized and delivered on time.  This is bolstered by the fact that Tecnomeeting is continuously reassigned contracts for production services and the supply of audio, lighting and video to these locations.

Tecnomeeting specializes in large Corporate Events and counts among its clients’ companies such as Nike, Unicredit, Lottomatica, AdR Aeroporti di Roma, Cinecittà Spa, Leonardo Spa, Fiera Milano Congressi.

In 2005 it inaugurated the new 800 m2 headquarters with offices, laboratory, and warehouse. In 2010, the Headquarters was completely restructured to comply with new directives regarding workplace safety regulations and to create a modern and highly organized environment, at the same time it further strengthened the technical team with the hiring of additional specialized personnel. The Headquarters was further expanded in 2018 to reach a total of 1400 square meters.

Since January 2014  Tecnomeeting  has been the official in-house AV service of the  Rome Cavalieri  Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, with a large  warehouse of equipment and technologies inside the hotel  with specialized personnel on site.

Since June 2015 Tecnomeeting has been providing technical assistance and technologies to the  United Nations  World Food Program agency.

Quality controls

Tecnomeeting supplies only CE certified materials and equipment of the highest quality thanks to partnership agreements with leading brands in the sector (Bosch, Panasonic, Sennheiser, Nec, Bose, Barco, Analog Way, Roland).

Tecnomeeting can satisfy “last minute” requests from the customer thanks to its offices in Rome and Florence and boasts warehouses for a total of over 2500 square meters which  allow the supply of back-up equipment to deal quickly and efficiently with any eventuality.

Each piece of equipment is subjected to continuous and regular maintenance checks. A further check is carried out before each component leaves the warehouse via computerized procedures.

The IT systems and processes are managed by a dedicated software, and particular attention is dedicated to the quote documents, which are detailed and clear in the descriptions of the services offered. The delivery of services and warehouse materials is managed with a barcode system that allows precise traceability of the products, guaranteeing the perfect correspondence of the installed equipment to what is reported in the quote.

The Certifications

Since 2004 Tecnomeeting has obtained the ISO 9001 certification for the production and supply of technical congress services with the BVQI, one of the most active certification bodies in the congress sector. In 2018, the upgrade to the 2015 regulation was granted.

Our company is in possession of the authorization required by Decree N. 37 dated 22/01/2008 and the professional requirements for issuing the necessary certifications after the installation of electrical and electronic systems as per letters A and B.   The plant engineering activity has been regulated since 1990 (law 5 March 1990, n. 46) to guarantee the safety and state-of-the-art construction of installations potentially capable of jeopardizing the safety and health of citizens as well as the integrity of their real estate assets. With the regulation of the sector, the legislator intended to reserve the installation of systems to companies with the necessary professional requirements. The aforementioned purposes are also the basis of the most recent legislation (Ministerial Decree of 22 January 2008, n. 37) which, compared to the previous legislation, has a wider field of application and provides for more stringent professional requirements for companies.

Security For Team Members

Particular attention is paid to safety at work, the staff is all under health surveillance and equipped with PPE as required by current legislation. All personnel working at height have IPAF international licenses for operating platform lifts.

To date Tecnomeeting has over 60 employees and over 120 highly specialized freelance collaborators, operates in a location complete with an internal laboratory for instrument maintenance and a well-stocked warehouse for proprietary equipment, which guarantee rental coverage of the entire range of audio-visuals necessary for any event, a world of ISO 9001 certified services and rentals in the best conference locations in Rome and in Italy.

Tecnomeeting can guarantee, thanks to the collaboration of English-speaking staff, the management of events for international clients. Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, France, United Arab Emirates, Southeast Asia, are countries where we have provided our assistance and technology and where we can count on a network of partners for any eventuality.
