Technology, controlled access, and protective screens to support Meetings and Events during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Coronavirus COVID-19 emergency and the need for social distancing during meetings and events has created a discussion point among event professionals across the globe. With a focus on what is happening a new challenge has arisen for the international meetings industry, which has the entire sector questioning what will happen tomorrow and for future events. The search for concrete solutions is imperative.

Tecnomeeting has always invested in the research of new solutions and is continuing to do so even at this difficult time for our market.
It will be important in the coming months, to provide reassurances to our customers about the methods of social distancing for meetings and events by providing technological solutions and security measures that help to manage the presence of numerous people, as is the case in a meeting.
Take a look at the body temperature detection stations (these help to screen individuals in the least invasive way and without physical contact or the need for operators) or information totems equipped with distributors dispensing PPE products such as masks or disinfectant gel.

Sanitization of Equipment

The fight against COVID-19 is not only social distancing during events: Tecnomeeting applies a sanitization procedure to all equipment such as microphones, keyboards and mice, translation headphones and in general anything that involves manual contact or contamination by airborne saliva droplets.
Alcohol-based disinfectants are used as required by WHO rules and specific products for technological equipment.
After sanitization, the most at-risk units such as microphones are vacuum sealed in plastic.
